Now\u2019s the time! Subsidies and preferential loans are available for Quebec and French companies! Here is more information.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h1><span style=\"color: #409ba2;\">Financial assistance available to Quebec SMEs<\/span><\/h1>\n<h2><\/h2>\n<h2>Programme de soutien pour la commercialisation et l\u2019exportation (PSCE)<\/h2>\n<p>The Quebec government is investing $200 million to support businesses in the province to market and export their products or services. SMEs wishing to explore foreign markets will receive guidance at every step of their project.<\/p>\n<p>What\u2019s more, <strong>this subsidy covers up to $45,000 worth of an export consultant\u2019s fees and travel expenses. <\/strong>An export consultant provides you with personalized support throughout your project and will be mandated to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Develop an export assessment, a business plan or an export or internationalization strategy;<\/li>\n<li>Allow you to learn about market development through coaching;<\/li>\n<li>Conduct a market study;<\/li>\n<li>Find and communicate with clients and partners;<\/li>\n<li>Recruit a distributer;<\/li>\n<li>Take the necessary steps to obtain contracts outside of Quebec by call for tenders or by invitation;<\/li>\n<li>Obtain approval for, proof of conformity, or certification of products for export;<\/li>\n<li>Undertake the process to set up an office, subsidiary or joint venture abroad, or to acquire a business outside Quebec;<\/li>\n<li>Register an international trademark;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Financial assistance is available to for-profit companies legally incorporated in Quebec, or those incorporated in Canada that have offices in Quebec, as well as social economy businesses and non-financial cooperatives.<\/p>\n<p>The PSCE provides for non-refundable financial contributions of up to 50% of eligible expenses, <strong>up to a maximum of $250,000<\/strong> over a maximum period of twelve months.<\/p>\n<p>You can apply to the program by visiting <a href=\"https:\/\/www.economie.gouv.qc.ca\/bibliotheques\/programmes\/aide-financiere\/programme-de-soutien-a-la-commercialisation-et-a-lexportation-psce\/\"><strong>www.economie.gouv.qc.ca\/psce<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0or by calling Investissement Qu\u00e9bec at <strong>1 844 474-6367<\/strong> for more information.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>CanExport SMEs Program<\/h2>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tradecommissioner.gc.ca\/funding-financement\/canexport\/sme-pme\/applicant-guide-requerant.aspx?lang=eng&amp;_ga=2.183318822.1018390580.1647365774-786246387.1647365774\">CanExport SMEs<\/a> offers financial support \u00a0of up to 50% of eligible costs, from $10,000 to $50,000 per export project. So Canadian SMEs can apply for projects worth $20,000 to $100,000.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Eligible expenses include the cost of an export consultant, who can help you with the following:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Regulatory issues such as intellectual property, market access and certification;<\/li>\n<li>Export market study;<\/li>\n<li><strong>Feasibility study; <\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Finding key contacts; <\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Organizing meetings and twinning companies; <\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Conducting a technological feasibility study.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>CanExport SMEs is currently accepting new funding applications for projects that will start in fiscal 2022-2023 (after April 1, 2022). <strong>Fees for hiring an export consultant will therefore be covered beginning April 1st. <\/strong>CanExport decides on whether or not to grant financial assistance within 60 days or less after an application is submitted. So it\u2019s a good idea to apply now!<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<h1><span style=\"color: #409ba2;\">Financial support offered to French SMEs and manufacturers<\/span><\/h1>\n<h2>Ch\u00e8ques Relance Export<\/h2>\n<p><strong>French SMEs and ETIs can continue to take advantage of the <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.teamfrance-export.fr\/solutions\/cheque-relance-export\">Ch\u00e8que Relance Export<\/a><strong> after \u00a0submitting their eligibility file by June 30, 2022. This initiative, offered by Team France Export, is part of the French\u2019s government\u2019s recovery plan<\/strong>. It allows French companies to finance a part of their export prospecting efforts for products and services.<\/p>\n<p>This voucher <strong>covers 50% of eligible expenses related to the support of an export consultant. <\/strong>This support covers preparation in France and prospecting in foreign markets. The financing includes the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Up to 2,000 \u20ac<\/strong><strong>of financial \u00a0assistance to cover the costs of hiring an export consultant for individual consultation <\/strong>(audit export assessment, export strategy structuring, market prioritization, individual prospection, communication, market study, etc.) + 800 \u20ac if the application includes text translation.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Up to 1,500 \u20ac<\/strong><strong>of financial assistance to cover the costs of hiring an export consultant for a group consultation for target markets <\/strong>(group prospection, business meetings, etc.) + 800 \u20ac if the application includes text translation.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Up to 1,500 \u20ac of financial assistance to cover the costs of a training session offered by an export consultant. <\/strong>This training is intended for company heads, export directors and their teams.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>***GoExport Europe is a Team France Relance (TFE) approved service provider.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Assurance prospection<\/h2>\n<p>L&#8217;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.bpifrance.fr\/catalogue-offres\/internationalisation\/assurance-prospection\">Assurance prospection<\/a> is an export support program offered by the French government via the\u00a0<em>Banque publique d\u2019investissement<\/em> (BPI).
